CHRIS LUNDSTROM
Chris Lundstrom is the Head Coach of Minnesota Distance Elite. He is responsible for recruiting, retaining, developing and managing a team of 10 to 12 male and female professional distance runners in events ranging from the 1500 meters up through the marathon – on the roads, track and in cross country.
Chris has his Ph.D. in kinesiology (2015), with an emphasis in exercise physiology, and did his dissertation on running performance. Along with coaching and competing, Chris has been on the faculty for 10 years at the University of Minnesota.
The Minnesota Distance Elite training group has developed multiple Olympians and 24 U.S. Champions.
